Heat Treating/Thermal Processing Our thermal processing operations include numerous gas-fired retort and tempering furnaces and electric vacuum furnaces. Several of these furnaces offer one-of-a-kind capabilities. For instance, we operate the largest commercial, top-loading vacuum furnace in the world; it’s 120" in diameter and 180" high. We also operate two unique hydrogen-fill/vacuum purge furnaces that offer distinct production advantages whenever hydrogen processing is required. |

In addition to hydrogen and vacuum, our other furnace atmosphere capabilities include argon, nitrogen and air. All of our furnaces feature high-limit instrumentation, microprocessor controls and statistical process control data logging. Our heat treating services include stress relief, age hardening, bright annealing, solution treatment, tempering and normalizing. |
