    Wall Colmonoy Awarded a Multi-Year, Multi-Million Dollar United States Air Force Contract

    (October 6, 2011, Madison Heights, MI) – Wall Colmonoy’s – Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, Oklahoma City, announced today that the United States Air Force has awarded it a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract for the re-core of heat exchangers to support the F-15 global fleet. The highly maneuverable F-15, designed to fly combat missions, is considered the premier air superiority fighter jet.

This new award signifies our ongoing commitment to increasing customers’ efficiency and cost savings in extending the life of critical parts and components for the aerospace industry.”

    Wall Colmonoy developed high temperature furnace brazing which is used extensively in the heat exchanger manufacturing process. Having developed the first heat exchanger repair procedures, Wall Colmonoy’s brazing expertise has resulted in significant cost savings for the USAF. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in fall of 2011.
