Wallex® CoCr Powders

    Additive Manufacturing for Ceramic Applications

Wall Colmonoy engineers and manufactures Wallex® Cobalt Chromium Additive Manufacturing Powders and Discs in our renowned facility in the UK. Produced to rigorous production standards, our Wallex® CoCr powders for additive manufacturing and discs for CAD/CAM applications represent the high-quality honed over Wall Colmonoy’s nearly 90 years of metallurgical expertise.

    WALLEX® COBALT-CHROMIUM ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING POWDERS

Wallex® Cobalt Chromium Additive Manufacturing Powders for Biomedical Applications, such as Orthopedic and Dental implants for use with CAD/CAM ceramic Applications.

Wallex® ASTM F75 CoCrMo, CoCrW, and CoCrMoW.

Wallex® F75 CoCrMo, Wallex® CoCrW, and Wallex® CoCrMoW Additive Manufacturing (AM) powders are designed for high performance in biomedical applications, such as orthopedic and dental implants, for use with CAD/CAM ceramic applications.

Wallex® Cobalt-Chromium AM powders have excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, wear and corrosion resistance, and proven biocompatibility. All of which provide versatility for use in many different industries.

Wallex® Cobalt-Chromium Additive Powders are manufactured using inert gas atomised process allowing for dense, high purity and spheroidal powders, developed for use in several additive manufacturing processes. This includes Selective Laser Melting (SLM), Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LBPF), Electron Beam melting (EBM), Direct Energy Deposition (DEP) and Binder Jetting (BJ).

    We produce three main chemistries:

    • Wallex® ASTM F75 CoCrMo AM
    • Wallex® CoCrW AM
    • Wallex® CoCrMoW AM

Wallex® F75 CoCrMo, Wallex® CoCrW, and Wallex® CoCrMoW Additive Manufacturing (AM) powders offer maximum flexibility and compatibility with a wide range of ceramics, thanks to their optimal coefficient of linear thermal expansion. Wallex® CoCr AM additive manufacturing metal powders are:

    • Gas atomised (unless specifically requested otherwise)
    • Highly spherical (unless specifically requested otherwise)
    • Free flowing
    • Very low oxide
    • High particle density
    • Less than 1% Nickel
    • Special care taken to avoid contamination with Beryllium, Cadmium, Gallium, and Lead.

All powders have expertly designed particle size distributions, supported by nearly 90 years of powder manufacturing heritage. Powders are tailor-made for each application and expertly tested in our state-of-the-art ISO 9001 laboratory.

We also manufacture Wallex® Cobalt-Chromium Discs.
