    Wall Colmonoy’s WallCarb™ HVOF Carbide Powders are specially formulated for thermal spray applications. WallCarb™ HVOF Carbide Powders deliver dense, hard coatings characterized by low porosity and superior wear and corrosion resistance. With their spherical, spray-dried, and sintered design, WallCarb™ HVOF Carbide Powders ensure high deposit efficiencies and consistent application parameters, leading to smooth coatings that minimize finishing and grinding times.

    WallCarb™ HVOF Powders are available in 5 kg bottles for all grades except WallCarb™ 75/25, which is offered in 2.5 kg bottles. Particle size distributions include -45+15 µm or -38+10 µm, specifically designed for use with HVOF systems. Other grades and PSDs are available on request.

WallCarb™ 86/10/4 HVOF powder offers high deposit efficiency and the ability to use consistent parameters from lot to lot. Additionally, consistent attention to size fraction detail, allows for reduced finishing and grinding times.

    WallCarb™ 90/10 (WC-10Ni) HVOF powder delivers hard, low-porosity coatings with superior wear and corrosion resistance. High deposit efficiency and the ability to use stable parameters produces smooth coatings, minimizing the need for extensive finishing.

    Applications:
    Ball or gate valves where oxidizing environments are present, oil and gas drilling applications where high hardness and good corrosion are required, parts exposed to salt-sea water, pump components, other erosion, abrasion and sliding wear protection

    Ductile Flexibility

    Fracture, wear, and corrosion resistance up to 730°C (1350°F), with greater ductility than tungsten carbide cobalt

    WallCarb™ 73/20/7 (WC-20Cr-7Ni) HVOF powder provides hard, dense coatings with outstanding wear and corrosion resistance and more ductility. It offers high deposit efficiency, smooth coatings and less finishing time.

    WallCarb™ 75/25 HVOF Powder 

    Alternative to Chrome Plating

    Wear and corrosion resistance up to 870°C (1600°F), with superior protection in chloride, acidic, and alkaline environments

    WallCarb™ 75/25 HVOF is a chromium carbide/nickel chrome (Cr3C2/NiCr) powder that provides dense, wear-resistant coatings with excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance. Its composition prevents decarburization and ensures strong carbide binding for consistent, durable performance.

    Applications:
    Hydraulic cylinders, piston rods in earth-moving equipment, furnace rolls in metal production, valves used in chemical processing, ball valves, turbine blades

    Resistance to wear, being harder than 83WC-17Co, withstanding abrasion and fretting up to 480°C (900°F)
