Wall Colmonoy Limited (WCL) – Technical Sales Manager Germany

In line with its global strategy and to accelerate its positive growth in Europe, Wall Colmonoy Limited (WCL) is looking to recruit an experienced Technical Sales Manager to further develop its business in Northern Germany, Poland and Scandinavia.

WCL manufactures a vast range of Nickel and Cobalt based alloys in atomised powder form and castings, has a comprehensive precision machine shop and a specialist Aerobraze business offering vacuum brazing, vacuum heat treatment, welding and various powder metal deposition processes such as HVOF, PTA, Spray & Fuse and Laser. WCL serves a blue chip customer base across a vast range of industries including Glass, Steel, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Food, Canning, Aerospace, Nuclear, Power, Paper and Pulp. WCL has been established for 48 years in Swansea, South Wales and employs 170 people. WCL is a net exporter of 90% of its sales to the whole of Western and Eastern Europe, India, South Africa, MENA, Scandinavia and Russia.

  6. Excellent knowledge of powder metallurgy (Nickel and Cobalt), hard surfacing metal deposition processes and applications, brazing alloy processes and applications
  7. An excellent working knowledge of the technical and engineering application of:
    • Nickel and Cobalt powder metallurgy
    • Cast (Nickel, Cobalt Stainless Steels) and Precision machined components within the Glass, Oil & Gas, Steel, Automotive, Aerospace, Power, Turbine and other relevant industrial markets, and selling into them


  1. Sales and Business Development responsibility for Northern Germany, Poland and Scandinavia, selling technical solutions
  2. Overall responsibility for business development in the region and achievement of annual sales targets consisting of existing core business and year on year growth targets
  3. Develop new market segments, new routes to market and new customers

Based in Northern Germany


  • Native German speaker, fluent in English, other European languages would be an advantage
  • Degree qualified in Metallurgy, Welding or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years industrial experience in operations / engineering / technical management
  • 10 years’ experience in technical / engineering sales into the aforementioned industries
